This Sunday, Doctor Who comes to the BBC Proms for a very special musical celebration. To coincide with this exciting event, we'll be updating the site with information about the Prom and links to BBC Radio 3 where you can listen to it live. You'll be able to see the concert play list, interesting facts and a chance to view the specially filmed scene written by Russell T Davies and starring David Tennant that will be played during the Prom. Due to rights, the clip will only be made available for a short period of time, so make sure you come back to the website at 11:40am on Sunday to see it. The Doctor Who Prom 2008 will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 at 11:00am and you can also listen to it on BBC iPlayer after the concert. | |

As mentioned in this post, yesterday there was a John Barrowman-hosted BBC show about his research for reasons of gayness. Did anyone catch that? The show was great, though I'm not sure how much we can discuss it in this comm, however one thing is definitely worth mention: I had no idea John slips into almost perfect scottish accent whenever he's near his parents. It was FREAKY... Just how many more secret scottish accents are there on Doctor Who? :P | |

I come bearing fic. :D? I don’t know that I got across the emotions I was trying to convey here. I think that maybe they’re there, but they could be a lot clearer? I dunno. I was aiming for subtlety too, but maybe things could have been stronger? Comments and constructive criticisms are welcomed, since this is the first time I’ve written in this fandom. Although I feel like I should be filling out kink meme requests, I got inspired to write this and I’ve learned not to ignore inspiration lest it leave me. I also feel the need to warn that this is un-beta-ed, because none of my friends that I know of have played GS4, so all mistakes and errors are mine alone. Suggestions for a title are very welcomed too because I have no idea what to call this. Having to drive to a place you've never been to (ok, maybe once) in the pouring rain is no walk in the park. I'm just glad I didn't get lost. GAH. I managed to get most of the things done that I needed to get done today. Still haven't finished packing DX I'll have to do that before work tomorrow. If I go to bed in a bit then I'll be up by eight, probably. Which is good, considering construction will wake me up then anyway. Things are slowing down a bit at ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) theskytides for right now. Which is actually pretty good for me, since I don't have to worry so much about leaving since so many other people are leaving. We know where we're going with the plot currently which is GREAT. I think we'll just... hold it back a bit until August hits. People should be coming back around then. It might still be a bit slow, what with people getting ready for school and everything. But that's fine. TST got a little fast paced there for a while, but it really isn't meant to be THAT fast paced. Once people get off hiatus we'll pick back up to a good speed again. I need to throw Nunnally out there more once I get back, now that she's on the Vicky. She needs to talk more with Rolololol. And other people too, so she can impose her overly cheerful, optimistic ways on them! I should probably throw out Arietta more too. Why are you so damn anti-social?! At least Nunnally will be all "I must get to know each and every member of the crew!" And then she would make a list and cross off the names of people she had talked to and draw little hearts all around it... YES I KNOW SHE'S BLIND. LELOUCH TOTALLY TAUGHT HER HOW TO DRAW HEARTS WITH HER EYES CLOSED. BECAUSE HE IS A GOOD ONII-CHAN. So blah blah blah porn. Edit: Also, SOMEONE REMIND ME TO UPDATE THE TST SUMMARY WHEN I GET BACK.
