Having to drive to a place you've never been to (ok, maybe once) in the pouring rain is no walk in the park. I'm just glad I didn't get lost. GAH.

I managed to get most of the things done that I needed to get done today. Still haven't finished packing DX I'll have to do that before work tomorrow. If I go to bed in a bit then I'll be up by eight, probably. Which is good, considering construction will wake me up then anyway.

Things are slowing down a bit at theskytides for right now. Which is actually pretty good for me, since I don't have to worry so much about leaving since so many other people are leaving. We know where we're going with the plot currently which is GREAT. I think we'll just... hold it back a bit until August hits. People should be coming back around then. It might still be a bit slow, what with people getting ready for school and everything. But that's fine. TST got a little fast paced there for a while, but it really isn't meant to be THAT fast paced. Once people get off hiatus we'll pick back up to a good speed again.

I need to throw Nunnally out there more once I get back, now that she's on the Vicky. She needs to talk more with Rolololol. And other people too, so she can impose her overly cheerful, optimistic ways on them! I should probably throw out Arietta more too. Why are you so damn anti-social?! At least Nunnally will be all "I must get to know each and every member of the crew!" And then she would make a list and cross off the names of people she had talked to and draw little hearts all around it... YES I KNOW SHE'S BLIND. LELOUCH TOTALLY TAUGHT HER HOW TO DRAW HEARTS WITH HER EYES CLOSED. BECAUSE HE IS A GOOD ONII-CHAN.

Edit: Also, SOMEONE REMIND ME TO UPDATE THE TST SUMMARY WHEN I GET BACK. I'll need to be filled in on this week's events (and maybe reminded of certain things) but it needs to be done. The way I have it planned in my mind, we've already reached "chapter 2."

Fucking hell. Itunes deleted my library again. (Songs are still on my computer, but I'll have to reimport them all into itunes.)

Fuck this. Anyone know a good alternative to itunes? One with ipod sync support is preferable. I'm leaning toward MediaMonkey or Songbird right now, but if anyone has any other suggestions then great.

Also, DARK KNIGHT WHOOOOO YES IT IS GONNA BE EPIC. Ack, gotta go get ready. Meeting up at a friend's for car pool coordinating.

I started reading Double K today, a totally kickass Gurren Lagann fan comic. Oh man, I think I'm in love already. It also features the Gainax girls as whores aka Nono, Lark, and Asuka. Couldn't care less about Asuka, BUT OMG NONO AND LARK. It's kind of lolz to see them as whores though haha.

Anyway, I will definitely be watching this. Awesome AU is awesome.

Why do companies like Viacom keep making themselves look like TOTAL ASSHOLES? Stop trying to fight the beast and learn to embrace it. Hell, force ads on the videos (like those little popup boxes I've seen show up on some videos. That may not have been youtube though.) They're fairly unobtrusive, being that the ones I've seen are just text. Taking down videos and suing for damages isn't going to help. There are probably over 100,000 videos added per day. How the HELL do you keep track of copyright infringement like that?

I have some sad news for you all...

As you may have already guessed, our poor Linny (demyx) suffers from a very serious disorder. Yes, she is a boobaholic.

Boobaholism is a very serious disease. Its victims become obsessed with boobs, boobies, breasts, cleavage, busts, bosoms, knockers, tatas, melons, hooters, tits... Boobaholics are often filled with a need to touch these objects of their affection, with devastating results. I am disappointed in you, rp_secrets. Where the hell is my discedo wank? It's been two whole days! Alright, so at least yesterday's had some follow up to the Malaise wank, but COME ON. Today's rp_secret sucked! Only a little bit of Daisychain and Paradisa. Not nearly enough to create a wankfest. God guys, you're losing your touch already.

Anyway, yesterday was certainly eventful. So, the people who are working on our floors came over to add a coat of varnish to the hardwood. Except they didn't tell us. My mom was out and I was still sleeping (haha ;;) and so our cat FREAKING WALKED ALL OVER IT. I wake up and there my mom rushing the cat up to the bedroom and the cat's paws are covered in this resin stuff. Ugh.

I had to hold her while my mom tried to wash her feet. That was certainly an experience. I'm kind of glad Kiki is declawed in the front. She kept on swatting me in the face. My mom thought it was cute but I was like, "No Mom, she's trying to kill me right now." At least she didn't have the sense to try and bite me. I actually felt bad for her, for once. I usually never feel sorry for the cat.

We managed to get most of it off, and then we called like a bajillion places to try and find out if this stuff was poisonous just in case she had been licking it. God, no one fucking knows. Stupid polyurethane. But things should be ok and our cat is fine, so that's good. It's actually kind of funny now. She couldn't walk right for like an hour, first because of the varnish and then because of the water on her feet. LOL.

Work is going really, really well. I was called a workaholic by my manager. Hm, I guess that's a good thing? I don't really see it. It feels like I spend a lot of the time just standing there. But I guess I am the first person to fix piles once a storm of teenage girls comes through (that's why I like working the men's department. Believe it or not, they're way more considerate when it comes to things like this.)

Also, I just found out about this. HELLO BEING LATE TO THE PARTY. Still pretty sweet though. I'll probably be getting the greasemonkey script that does it automatically.

theskytides is AWESOME. I'm so happy, because all the ships now have something to do. The Victoria II finding out about the 4423 raid wasn't even supposed to happen this way, but this is ten times better than what ~~little~~ we had planned. I'm so excited for this game now. It has seriously taken over my life. ~~I'm in eight posts in same shape or form on the first page of the RP alone.~~ BAW, I WANT TO GET TO *SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER* IN THE PLOT NOW. Next week, hopefully things will begin to move. HEY RAN AND ASHLEY MODSU. We should plan a bit more, yes?

I'm also happy since this whole situation provides me with the opportunity to RP with someone I haven't had the chance to yet but really wanted to. SO YAY. I'm hoping I can get Isako out there to interact with the rest of the crew as well. She can't just sit in her little bubble and expect things to run smoothly. She's got to learn that that's not how it works.

My god, my characters' flists really exploded. SO HAPPY <333 Eee, sorry. I'm just so excited right now. I mean, even I didn't expect the game to be going this well. Everyone has been doing an amazing job on being active. I hope this continues -_-

Ack, and I have a ton to reply to. It's my fault, taking on four characters like this ~~and contemplating more~~. And I guess I'll respond to the play thread, since I don't think Roy is going to do that. I really didn't want that to die just yet. Maybe I can jump start it again.
